Critter Hunt II

Description: Critter Hunt II has the following gameplay improvements over the original version:

  • Map size is now 192x192
  • You must have 500 critters in your pen to win.
  • The map now supports six players.

Overall, I like this version much more than the original, as it\'s much bigger and it is much more difficult for a single player to hold a monopoly over the hunting grounds.

Starship Troopers 2001

Description: You have infinite resources.  Can you and 3 buddies hold out against the twisted mind of the creator's endless supply of assorted Zerg?  No?  Didn't think so.

The Lost

Description: A huge, highly detailed, asymmetrical melee jungle map with a difficult-to-defend abundance of resources in the middle.  With a variety of terrain and dozens of expansion points, it plays very well.

Critter Hunt

Description: Critter Hunt  is an innovative, multiplayer-only map.  Each player starts with standard base.  Money may either be earned by the traditional methods of harvesting, or killing various animals throughout the map for a reward of 50 or and gas.  Whenever a critter is killed, it reappears in your critter pen.  The first player to either destroy all enemies or reach 200 critters inside the critter pen wins, but be warned--other players can sneak into your pen and take your critters for themselves.

Fastest Map Possible (Green)

Description: There's practically infinite varitions of "Fastest Map Possible", but they're all mods of Big Game Hunters with near infinite resources crammed into a very small spot, which makes harvesting much faster.

This variation simply has a winter/spring tileset.

Starcraft Lunacy

Description: Starcraft Lunacy is a mod for Starcraft which changes the required food of every unit to zero, which effectively removes the population limit.  200 carriers, 500 battle-cruisers, whatever!  Also, every unit now costs half and builds twice as fast.  This hasn't been tested against the latest versions of Starcraft or Brood War

Reclamation of Auir

Description: This is a UMS map that utilizes several hundred triggers to ensure the best of gameplay.  This map can be played solo or co-op with one or two friends in a shared base.  Each player may choose between Terran or Protoss to fight the hoards of Zerg that must be defeated in order to win the map.  Be aware that this is a very difficult level.

Ultimate Micro Jail

Description: If you've never played the "jail" type of maps, they basically cram as many players into as small a space as possible, with a few basic barriers between the bases to prevent complete chaos.  A fun play that effectively remixes classic starcraft strategies.
